  • Week 1 on Aaron's system: RM70,000 from fewer than 10 appointments.

You've lived this

The Fact-Find Was Perfect. The Presentation Was Compliant. So Why Did They Invest With Someone Else?

  1. Monday

The fact-find. Risk profile done. Goals mapped: the kids' university, retirement at 55, the house loan. By the end of the hour you know their finances better than their spouse does.

  2. Wednesday

The presentation. Clean. Compliant. Projections, fund options, the Product Highlights Sheet. They nod the whole way through. Then:
“Very good. Let me discuss with my wife first.”

  3. Friday

The follow-up. You send a friendly check-in. The reply takes two days.

  4. The week after

Another message. This one stings a little more.

  5. 3 months later

At a family dinner, he mentions he's started investing.
Through his bank's relationship manager. The one who called him last week.

You did the fact-find. You did the thinking. Someone else got the case.

And the friends who actually have money? The ones from church, the club, your old office? You've never approached them. You know exactly how it would sound, and you'd rather keep the friendship.

So your leader gives you the advice every leader gives:

“Talk to more people. Go to hotels. Go here and there.”

Here's the uncomfortable truth. Your client didn't choose the RM because of the product. Most of what you offer, someone else can offer too. They chose the person who helped them decide.

Aaron puts it like this:

“It's not the plane. It's the pilot.”

Aaron Chong

You don't need a better fund. You need a better understanding of how people decide. That's what these 2 nights are about.

You explain compounding to clients every week. Here it is, applied to you.

None Of Her 4 Numbers Went Up More Than 3x. Her Sales Went Up 27x.

Every ringgit of commission you've ever earned came from 4 numbers multiplied together. Aaron calls it the Sales Formula:

#×%×$׃

  1. #

    Leads

Every prospect, referral, policyholder and old contact you can talk to

  2. %

    Closing rate

Of those, how many actually commit

  3. $

    Case size

Your average case: the ticket, the monthly amount, the ANP

  4. ƒ

    Frequency

How often the same client comes back: top-ups, a second plan, their parents, their kids

Here are Samsiah's actual numbers:

Samsiah · sales formulaIndividual result · not typical

20251,36550%RM 6,0002RM 8,190,000
Change×2.7×2.5×2×2×27

Look at the bottom row.

Not one lever went up more than 3x. The result went up 27x.

That's not addition. It's multiplication: 2.7 × 2.5 × 2 × 2 ≈ 27. You show clients this effect on a compounding chart every week. This is the same effect, applied to your own income.

And the daily effort behind it?

2 peoplea day, before
4 peoplea day, after

Twice the conversations. Twenty-seven times the sales.

Your sales portfolio

Think of your sales as a portfolio with 4 assets. Most planners are almost fully allocated to one of them: more leads. It's the most crowded, most expensive asset there is, and it's the one your leader keeps telling you to top up.

  • # More leads92%
  • % Closing rate4%
  • $ Case size3%
  • ƒ Frequency1%

The other three barely get touched. Night 1 is your rebalancing.

The fee nobody discloses

You'd Never Let A Client Keep Paying Fees On A Plan That Isn't Working. So Why Are You?

In his 20s, Aaron made RM60,000 to RM80,000 a year. People his age were making a million.

So he did the math most people avoid:

“If they make RM1 million and I make RM80,000, I'm losing about RM920,000 every year, just because I don't know what they know. Ten years of not learning is over RM9 million.”

That's when he realised something he still teaches today:

“Knowing is a one-time fee. Not knowing is a recurring bill, and you keep paying it until you finally know.”

Aaron Chong

You'd flag a fee like that on a client's statement in 30 seconds. Have you ever checked your own?

Fee disclosure

What's your “not knowing” fee?

Two numbers. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

She Had 50 Contacts. All Low Net Worth. A Year Later, High-Net-Worth Prospects Were Saying Yes To Meet Her.

Financial planner

Ayub is a financial planner. She needed high-net-worth clients. She had exactly 50 contacts, and none of them were.

Her leader's advice: “Talk to more people. Go to hotels. Go here and there.”

Aaron gave her a different starting point. There's one platform where people volunteer their job title, and a job title tells you roughly what someone earns. On Facebook or Instagram you can't tell. On LinkedIn, they tell you.

She didn't go to hotels. In Aaron's words: “Sit at home, use your phone.”

“People say LinkedIn is for business. LinkedIn users are still human beings. Humans respond to a stimulus, and the stimulus is your message.”

Aaron Chong

If you've been sitting on a list of wealthy friends you're afraid to approach, Night 2 is for you.

It's not about where to find HNW prospects. It's about what to say so the conversation doesn't feel like a pitch.

Your 2-Night Closing Blueprint For Financial Planners

Night 1: find where you're over-allocated. Night 2: rebalance.

Night 01

Mon, 5 Oct 2026 · 8:30PM Malaysia Time

The Sales Formula That
Compounds Your Income

  • The 4 levers behind every case you've ever closed, and how to find the one quietly leaking commission right now.
  • Samsiah's 27x, lever by lever. How 4 improvements, none bigger than 3x, multiplied into RM8.19 million. And the story of the “outdated” strategy her leader laughed at.
  • Why you fix closing before you chase more leads. A takaful leader changed one number and went from RM88K to RM385K.
  • Rich vs wealthy: why the advisers who build real wealth don't just close a client. They become the family's adviser, and the parents, the kids and the referrals follow.
Night 02

The Closing Formula That Turns “Let Me Think About It” Into “Okay, Let's Proceed”

  • The Ultimate Closing Formula: the 3 conditions that make a client want to commit, without you pushing.
  • Why “let me discuss with my spouse” is rarely about the spouse. Clients make a string of small decisions long before they sign. Skip one, and you hear that sentence.
  • Prospecting, redefined. One definition change that stops you sounding like you're after their money. This is how you approach wealthy friends without spoiling the friendship.
  • The platform that tells you a prospect's likely income before you send a single message, and how Ayub used it from home.
  • Why “no money to invest” is almost never about money. (Aaron's iPhone example will change how you hear it.)

The Magic Message

Sent to your inbox after Night 1. Only to people who attend.

The One Message That Gets Quiet Clients Replying Again. Without Mentioning A Single Product.

Every planner has a list of people who went quiet:

  • The client who said “wait until the market recovers.”
  • The friend who took your retirement projection home and never mentioned it again.
  • The policyholder you haven't spoken to since the day the policy was issued.

The Magic Message is a short, copy-and-paste message for exactly these people. It doesn't pitch, mention a fund, or ask for a meeting. Its only job is to get a reply, so the conversation can start again.

What planners and agents reported from their homework in previous workshops:

  1. VP · insurance5 of 10 replied3 appointments
  2. Anati · takaful4 of 24 replied1 face-to-face + 1 new quotation
  3. Prema · insurance5 of 20 replied1 appointment
  4. Karen Lee · estate1 of 10 replied1 appointment confirmed
  5. Fatin · takaful2 of 20 replied1 client said “proceed”

On their own personal contact lists, participants in past workshops reported roughly 1 in 5 people replying.

Your homework: send it to 20–30 people after Night 1. Report your numbers live on Night 2.

The goal isn't the case. It's the reply. The case comes after the reply.

What You'll Learn For FREE In 2 Nights

The part your licensing exam never covered.

The 4-Lever Formula

Your income is 4 numbers multiplied together. Improve each one a little, and the result compounds.

Fix Closing First

Why the cheapest way to grow is to close more of the people you already meet, before you pay to meet more.

The Qualified Client

Stop presenting to people who were never going to commit. Know before the presentation.

Micro-Decisions

The small yeses a client needs before the big one. “Let me think about it” means one of them got skipped.

Positive Feeling

Why the same client says no one week and yes the next, and how to read the moment before you ask.

Value = Important

“No money” rarely means no money. It means not important enough, yet. How to change that without hype.

Prospecting, Redefined

Approach HNW prospects and old friends without sounding like you want their money.

Rich vs Wealthy

One case makes you rich for a month. Becoming the family's adviser makes you wealthy.

Why Should You Listen To Me?

Young Aaron Chong selling mobile phones in a phone shop Me, the 'efficient' salesman

I Started As A Phone Salesman Who Only Knew Product Knowledge

In my early 20s I sold mobile phones. I memorised every spec and recited it. People bought, because phones were easy to sell.

Then I moved to luxury furniture and art: RM20,000 tables, a RM385,000 painting. Same approach: features, features, features.

For 6 months, I couldn't sell anything. My boss nearly fired me.

Sounds a lot like walking a client through fund performance, sales charges and asset allocation, doesn't it? Every word accurate. Nothing sold.

The Same Client Spent RM20,000 With Me. Then RM760,000 With Someone Else. In Under 2 Hours.

She bought one table from me. Then she asked where else to shop, because she was furnishing a new 3-storey bungalow. I brought her to another furniture boss for a referral commission.

She spent RM760,000 with him in under 2 hours.

Same client. Same money in her account. Same afternoon. She had the money all along. He just helped her decide.

You've seen this too: the client who “had no budget” for your plan, then found the budget for someone else's.

I asked him to teach me. He said, “There's no free lunch.” So I paid him half my commission, about RM38,000, on the spot. It was the best investment I've ever made, and I say that to a room full of people who pick investments for a living.

Aaron Chong teaching a sales funnel on a whiteboard on stage

I Learned To Sell Like A Scientist, Not A Salesman

A mentor asked me a question that changed everything: “Is what you're doing effective, or just efficient?”

I was very efficient. Fast replies, fast follow-ups, fast brochures. I just wasn't doing the right things.

So I stopped working harder and started fixing the right thing. That became decision-led selling: selling the way humans actually make decisions, not the way salespeople wish they did.

Now I'm Teaching It Free, For 2 Nights

I used to sell 3-day courses. I stopped, because you can't teach someone to ride a bike in a seminar. So now I give that level of teaching away free, live, for 2 nights.

And yes, at the end I'll tell you how to work with me further. If a sales trainer doesn't dare to sell to you, why would you learn selling from him? Watch how I do it, and decide for yourself.

The planners who show up will finally know which lever to fix. The ones who don't will keep “talking to more people.”

Be Honest. Is This For You?

This is for you if:

  • You're a UT or PRS consultant, financial planner, wealth or estate planner, or insurance/takaful agent who plans, full-time or part-time.
  • Your clients love the fact-find and the presentation, then “think about it” and go quiet.
  • You have wealthy friends and contacts you've never approached, because you don't want it to feel like you're after their money.
  • You're good, but stuck at the same number every year, and “see more people” isn't moving it.
  • You lead an agency or team and want a system your people can actually copy.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You want a script that promises clients returns or pressures them into signing. Aaron teaches the opposite: helping people make the decision that's right for them.
  • You want a product-knowledge course or help passing an exam. This is about how people decide, not what's in the fund.
  • You're going to register and not show up. Please leave the seat for a planner who will.

Questions Financial Planners Ask Us

My industry is heavily regulated. Will this teach me anything I can't use?

This is about how people make decisions: how you start the conversation, which questions you ask, and how you help a client decide. It's not about product claims or promising returns. Always follow your licence, your company's compliance rules and the regulations that apply to you.

My clients always want to compare returns and fees. How does this help?

When a client is comparing numbers, they usually haven't seen anything else worth comparing. Night 2 covers what actually drives a decision (“Value = Important”), so you're no longer competing on a percentage alone.

I do both insurance and unit trusts. Is this for me?

Very much. Samsiah, the consultant behind the RM8.19M year, does both. So do many of Aaron's students in financial services.

I want HNW clients, but I don't know any. Can this help?

Ayub started with 50 contacts, all low net worth. A year later she had 2,000 LinkedIn connections, and high-net-worth prospects were agreeing to meet. Night 2 covers the thinking behind that shift.

I have wealthy friends. I just don't want to spoil the relationship.

That fear usually comes from one belief about what prospecting is. Night 2 redefines it, so approaching someone stops feeling like asking for their money.

The market's rough right now. Is this a bad time to learn sales?

When the market is rough, clients need someone who can help them decide calmly. That's when the skill matters most. And if a year-end deadline is coming for your clients or your own targets, fixing the leak before it arrives is worth far more than after.

I'm new and still getting my licences. Is this too advanced?

No. New consultants often improve fastest because there are fewer bad habits to undo. Night 1 starts from the basics: the 4 levers behind every sale. Linda closed the first case of her takaful career within 3 days of joining Aaron's program.

My agency already trains us. Why would I join?

Keep your agency training. You need product knowledge, compliance and process. This covers the part most people are never taught: how a client actually makes the decision, and what helps them make it with you.

I'm already doing well. What would I get from this?

Doing well usually means one lever is carrying you while another is leaking. Shailey was an experienced team leader. She fixed one lever and went from RM88K to RM385K in a year.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

100% free. At the end, Aaron will explain how you can work with him further, openly and with no obligation. You'll see exactly how he sells, which is a lesson in itself.

What do I need?

Zoom, a notebook, and about 2.5 hours on each night. Camera on is encouraged. Bring your list of clients and prospects who went quiet. You'll need it for the Magic Message homework.

Why “I'll just catch the next one” is the most expensive plan

What Happens On Night 1 Doesn't Happen Anywhere Else

The breakdown is live only

Aaron walks through the formula, the case studies and the lever-by-lever math live, and answers the room's questions as they come.

The Magic Message goes to attendees only

It's sent after Night 1, to people who were there. It isn't sold anywhere.

The results start that same night

In past workshops, the group chat filled up within hours: “20 sent, 5 replied.” “3 appointments.” Real planners and agents, posting real numbers. In past runs, Aaron personally reacted to most of the homework posts.

Night 2 is built on Night 1

Night 2 opens with everyone's Magic Message results. Miss Night 1, and you'll watch the room report results you had no chance to get.

Imagine it's 31 December. You look at this year's production. What would you give to have fixed the leak in October instead of noticing it now?
